This is by no means an exhaustive list of restaurants in the downtown area, but here are a few of my favorites within easy walking distance of the hotel. There are several very good restaurants in the hotel but I urge you to get out of the hotel occasionally and experience a little of Grand Rapids while you are here. The B.O.B. (the Big Old Building)

This is a uniquely Grand Rapids experience. This turn of the century
four-story, red brick building that was a grocery warehouse it now houses
several restaurants including a seafood restaurant, a steak house, a
couple of casual restaurants, a microbrewery, a comedy club, a dance club,
